Rhea Kummer

Rhea Kummer is a Researcher at the Department of Law and Migration within the Faculty of Cultural, Social and Educational Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin. She studied law at Humboldt University from 2018 to 2023, with a semester abroad at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2021/2022.

Her research focuses on migration law, gender and sexuality in asylum procedures, anti-discrimination law, international refugee law, human rights protection, and EU asylum policy. She has practical experience working as a student assistant at the Refugee Law Clinic Berlin e.V. from 2020 to 2022 and volunteering as a legal advisor there since 2020.
