Rezwanul Rana

Dr. Rezwanul Rana is affiliated with Macquarie University's Centre for the Health Economy. He holds a PhD in Health Economics (University of Southern Queensland, 2020), an MA in Economics (Middlesex University, UK), and a Bachelor's in Finance (University of Dhaka). His research focuses on health economic evaluation, particularly the economic burden of non-communicable diseases, healthcare expenditure, and healthcare inequity. He has collaborated with institutions like the Lung Foundation Australia and Darling Downs Health, contributing to studies on COPD management and digital health interventions. Dr. Rana has received the USQ Teaching Excellence Recognition and the Macquarie Business School Impact Competition Prize (2022) for his work evaluating medical technologies. His recent projects include assessing inequities in pediatric hospital outcomes and analyzing climate change impacts on healthcare workforces.
