Professor Reza Roudsari is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Manchester's Division of Dentistry. He splits his time between clinical teaching, undergraduate/postgraduate supervision, and patient care in complex restorative cases. His roles include Director of Undergraduate Education and leadership in assessment strategies for dental programs. He has contributed to curriculum reforms, outreach initiatives, and international collaborations, including establishing the Manchester Dental Programme in Mansoura University, Egypt.
Education: Graduated DDS from Tehran University (2003), followed by an MSc in Prosthodontics (2005) and PGDip in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2006) from Manchester. Completed his PhD on dental competence assessment (2018) and became a Senior Lecturer in 2017, gaining professorship in 2020.
Research focuses on dental education, prosthodontics, and clinical competence assessment.
