Reza Nosrati is an Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (2016), an MSc from the University of Tehran (2010), and a BSc from Amirkabir University of Technology (2007). Prior to Monash, he was an NSERC postdoctoral fellow at Queen’s University (2016-2018).
His research focuses on microfluidics and nanofluidics applied to cell biology, translational medicine, and environmental science. He pioneered microfluidic technologies for male fertility and assisted reproduction, with work featured in Nature Communications, Nature Reviews Urology, and Lab on a Chip. His projects include the Fallopian tube on-a-chip (NHMRC-funded), sperm dynamics analysis, and non-invasive embryo imaging.
