Reza Mirzaei

Reza Mirzaei is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at Alfred University, located in Harder Hall. He holds a PhD in History of Art & Architecture from UC Santa Barbara and an MFA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on Iranian contemporary art, cultural representation, and the intersections between art practices across global contexts. Recent work includes studies on Tehran’s urban representation in photography and comparative analyses of artists like Bahman Mohassess and Marino Marini.
