Reza Kouhy

Reza Kouhy is Visiting Professor and Emeritus Faculty at Abertay University, leading the Energy and Oil & Gas research group. His expertise spans energy accounting, carbon accounting, and corporate environmental reporting.

Previous positions include senior auditor/consultant in private sector and lectureships at Dundee University and Glasgow Caledonian University. He designed the MSc Accounting and Finance for the Global Energy Sector launching in 2018.

Research examines renewable energy finance, oil/gas accounting standards, and human capital valuation methodologies. Awarded 2012 Impact of Research Award for work on corporate social/environmental reporting and 2010 Highly Commended Paper for research on HR management-accounting linkages.
