Reza Abedi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Space Institute (UTSI), part of the Tickle College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010) and has expertise in computational mechanics, fracture mechanics, and discontinuous Galerkin methods.
