Renren Wen, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and a Senior Investigator at Versiti Blood Research Institute. He also serves as Program Co-Leader of the Hematopoiesis and Immunology program. His research focuses on immune signaling pathways in T/B cells and the interplay between immune and coagulation systems, with emphasis on diseases like heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) and thrombotic complications in COVID-19. Dr. Wen holds a PhD from the University of Tennessee Medical School (1996) and completed postdoctoral training at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
