Renee Calligeros

Renee Calligeros is an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at the School of Psychology, The University of Queensland. Her work focuses on cognitive and affective processes, particularly in emotion recognition.

Her research explores how adolescents interpret emotional cues in auditory stimuli, including popular music and vocal bursts. This aligns with broader interests in developmental psychology and auditory perception.

In 2019, she co-authored a seminal journal article in Cognition and Emotion on emotion recognition in music and vocal bursts, contributing to understanding affective science and cognitive psychology.
