Renee Bell is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Lehman College, City University of New York. She holds a Ph.D. from MIT and a B.A. from UC Berkeley, with postdoctoral experience at the University of Pennsylvania and Université Paris-Sud.
Her mathematical research focuses on algebraic geometry and number theory. She is committed to inclusive teaching and increasing diversity in mathematics, notably as an organizer for the Preliminary Arizona Winter School on Symmetries of Root Systems and Local Fields.
