Renata Roland Teixeira

Renata Roland Teixeira is a Professor at the Faculty of Labor in the Undergraduate Nursing course and Laboratory Technician with Doctorate at the Institute of Biotechnology (IBTEC) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). She serves as Technical Manager of the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and acts as an evaluator of undergraduate courses at INEP/MEC.

Dr. Teixeira earned her PhD and Master's in Genetics and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2012), completed her Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from the same institution (2005), and obtained her Technician certification in Biodiagnosis/Clinical Pathology from the Technical School of Health of UFU (2004).

Her research program centers on Salivary Biomarkers of Stress, Oral Health and Adaptation to Physical Exercise, with additional investigations into Diabetes, Oxidative Stress and Proteomics. She actively develops and participates in multiple research initiatives that bridge clinical applications with fundamental biochemical mechanisms.

Dr. Teixeira maintains dual laboratory affiliations at the Umuarama Campus: the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (LABIBI) and the Exercise and Health Biochemistry Laboratory (LABES), reflecting her interdisciplinary research approach spanning molecular biology and exercise physiology.
