Remy Cross

Remy Cross is currently a Research Manager at the Connected Learning Lab. Previously, he served as a Professor and Department Chair at a small Midwestern university. His research focuses on violent radicalization in online environments, online communities, and collective action dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine, alongside Master’s degrees from the University of Chicago and UC Irvine.

His academic career emphasizes understanding social behavior within digital spaces, particularly how online platforms influence radicalization processes and mobilization for collective action. Remy’s work bridges sociology and digital studies, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on modern societal challenges.
