Dr. Reinhard Blomert is a Researcher at the WZB – Social Science Research Center Berlin since 2007, where he also serves as editor of the journal Leviathan. He holds a Dr. rer.pol. habil. from TU Dresden (2001) and a Dr. rer.pol. from FU Berlin (1987). His research focuses on Civilization Theory, Economic Sociology, and Financial/Social History. Notably, he has held visiting professorships at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz (2006, 1999–2003) and the Université de Paris X-Nanterre (2001, 2005).
