Reid Staples

Reid Staples is a Lecturer in the Department of Earth Sciences at Simon Fraser University. He holds a PhD from SFU (2014) following B.Sc. (2006) and M.Sc. (2009) degrees from the same institution. His research focuses on Metamorphic Petrology and Structural Geology. He teaches courses such as EASC 202 (Mineralogy), EASC 206 (Field Geology I), and EASC 301 (Igneous Petrology) in Fall 2025.
