Regina La Macchia is an Adjunct Lecturer in Real Estate at Tulane University. She holds a Masters in Sustainable Real Estate Development from Tulane University and a B.A. in Historic Preservation and Community Development from the College of Charleston.

As a Real Estate Development Project Manager and Asset Manager at Green Coast Enterprises, she specializes in LEED-certified building design and construction, managing projects ranging from single-family houses to large mixed-use developments. Notably, she oversaw the $52.5M historic tax credit process and the re-development of Greenway Apartments.
Her professional contributions include expanding the Lower Central Business District boundary and serving on the Energy Wise Alliance board. She volunteers as a coach for Girls on the Run New Orleans.
