Regina Kunzel is Professor of History at Princeton University, specializing in 20th-century US gender/sexuality studies. She holds a BA from Stanford University and PhD from Yale University.
Her research examines the history of normalcy, carceral institutions, and relationships between expert discourses and lived experiences. Publications include the award-winning Criminal Intimacy: Prison and the Uneven History of Modern American Sexuality (2008) and Fallen Women, Problem Girls (1993).
