Reed Walker is the Transamerica Associate Professor of Business Strategy and Associate Professor of Economics at the Haas School of Business and Department of Economics at the University of California Berkeley. He serves as faculty co-director of UC Berkeley’s Opportunity Lab - Climate and Environment Initiative and holds affiliations as a research associate at the Energy Institute at Haas, faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and research fellow at IZA.
Research Focus: Reed Walker specializes in environmental economics, public economics, and labor economics. His work examines the social costs of environmental externalities (e.g., air pollution) and the economic impacts of regulatory policies aimed at mitigating these costs.
Grants & Funding: His research has been supported by grants from the Environmental Protection Agency, National Science Foundation, and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
