Reece Bush

Dr. Reece Bush is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Bournemouth University and member of the Gambling Research Group. He holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Southampton (2020), an MSc (2015), and dual undergraduate degrees from Bournemouth University (2011) and Southampton (2014). His postdoctoral research was funded by GambleAware, and he obtained HEA Fellowship status with a Postgraduate Certification in Education Practice.

Research focuses on psychological aspects of gambling behaviors, including:

• Personality-gambling relationships and harm reduction strategies
• Transparency in gambling operations and policy implications
• Vulnerable population interventions and equity in service provision
• Behavioral convergence between gaming and gambling mechanics

Publication analysis reveals consistent themes in:
