Rebekah Elliott is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Oregon State University, with a joint appointment in the College of Science. She specializes in mathematics education, focusing on teacher development and equity in education. Her roles include serving as Interim Associate Dean of Research (2018–2019) and Chair of the Education Department. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a BA in Liberal Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
Her research addresses how teachers and leaders mitigate educational inequities through collaborative systems. Key interests include mathematical modeling, data literacy, and anti-bias pedagogy. She has led major grants totaling over $6 million, including the NSF-funded DREAM project advancing anti-bias mathematics education.
Elliott has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and presented globally. Awards include the Outstanding Journal of Teacher Education Article Award (2010) and OSU’s Partnerships Innovation Team Award (2015).
