Professor Rebekah Brown serves as Provost and Senior Vice-President at The Australian National University, leading the implementation of the University's academic mission. A multi-award-winning researcher specializing in environmental studies, urban water systems, and transdisciplinary methods, she holds a BEng (Hons) and PhD from UNSW, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
Her research focuses on sustainable urban development, water management, and innovative approaches to complex environmental challenges. With over 200 publications in journals including Nature and Science, her work spans interdisciplinary collaborations across Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
