Rebecca Tree

Rebecca Tree teaches ECE 540: From Teacher to Thinker: Pedagogical Leadership in Southern Oregon University's MSEd Leadership in Early Childhood Education program. With 30 years of industry experience, she founded Roots and Wings Community Preschool and publishes on early childhood topics.

Her teaching focuses on:

• Developing pedagogical leadership identities
• Creating advocacy frameworks
• Addressing systemic training gaps

She views master's education as essential for validating early childhood expertise and developing leaders capable of advancing the field through critical inquiry.
