Rebecca Rundell

Rebecca Rundell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Biology at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). Her research focuses on evolutionary biology, conservation, and biodiversity of Pacific Island land snails, with expertise in molecular phylogenetics, biogeography, and taxonomic classification. She advises graduate students in ecology and conservation biology, including Katy Lawson (PhD candidate) and Nicki McCoy (MS candidate).

Her work emphasizes the study of cryptic species, genetic divergence, and conservation planning for endangered gastropods.
