Rebecca Rouland is an Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Social Work Program (MSW) at Nazareth College since 2018. Her research focuses on health and mental health disparities, particularly racial, ethnic, cultural, and geographic disparities in reproductive, sexual, and perinatal health. She holds a B.S. from SUNY Geneseo, an M.S.W. from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo. Her work emphasizes trauma-informed care, postpartum depression among marginalized mothers, and policy impacts on healthcare access.
Rebecca collaborates with students like Izzy Kimber on projects addressing postpartum depression and abortion access. She advocates for evidence-based practices in healthcare and social work education.
