Rebecca Parylak is a Professor in the Department of Geography at Kent State University. Her research focuses on annual/seasonal precipitation trends, climate change, El Niño Southern Oscillation, severe weather, natural hazards, and biogeography. She also evaluates learning outcomes in distance learning (DL) science labs compared to traditional in-class environments. Teaching interests include physical geography, climatology, statistics, and biogeomorphology.
