Rebecca Killick

Professor Rebecca Killick is Chair of Statistics at Lancaster University's School of Mathematical Sciences. She develops statistical models for nonstationary time series with applications in environmental science, health monitoring, and econometrics.

Research expertise includes:

• Changepoint detection algorithms
• Locally stationary wavelet processes
• Multivariate changepoint methods
• Environmental time series forecasting

Recent publications apply changepoint methods to soil moisture dynamics, ecosystem services, and economic indicators. Work appears in statistics and interdisciplinary journals with strong computational focus.

Current research group includes:
