Dr. Rebecca Hasdell serves as the lead for Determinants of Health and Health Equity in Population and Public Health at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). She holds an adjunct professor position at the University of British Columbia's Northern Medical Program and serves as a research advisor with Stanford's Basic Income Lab.
Her educational background includes:

- MPH in social and behavioural sciences from the University of Toronto
- BA from the University of Calgary
Dr. Hasdell specializes in applied, interdisciplinary research examining how social and economic determinants produce health inequities.
