Rebecca Barry

Rebecca Barry is an Associate Teaching Professor at Arizona State University's School of Community Resources & Development (CRD). She holds a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Utah. Her research focuses on scenic beauty, landscape perception, pro-social behavior in park settings, environmental interpretation, and survey design. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide and Trainer through the National Association for Interpretation.

Education: Ph.D. (Parks, Recreation, and Tourism), University of Utah.

Teaching & Service: Teaches courses on leisure, environmental interpretation, wilderness parks, and research methods. Sponsors an annual Grand Canyon National Park camping trip for CRD students and faculty. Served as Chair of the Scholarship Committee since 2010.
