Dr. Rebecca Addo is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics Research and Evaluation (CHERE) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Her work focuses on Health Technology Assessment (HTA), priority setting in healthcare systems, and the application of HTA methods in developing countries. She holds a PhD in Health Economics from UTS and a Master of Public Health from the University of Ghana. Dr. Addo’s research bridges clinical practice and policy, with a particular emphasis on improving health outcomes in resource-constrained settings.
Her current roles include evaluating economic submissions for Australia’s Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) and Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), as well as contributing to international projects such as developing EQ-5D-5L value sets for Ghana.
