Rebecca Achen

Dr. Rebecca Achen serves as Professor and Program Director for the Professional Performance program at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus. She holds a PhD from the University of Kansas in Health, Sport, and Exercise Sciences. Achen has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and contributed to books on social media in sport.

Her research examines social media as a relationship marketing tool in sport and fitness contexts and explores Scholarship of Teaching and Learning approaches. She maintains an active professional presence through writing, speaking, and marketing initiatives.
