Raysa Geaquinto Rocha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Lived Religion and Society at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She holds a PhD in Management (2022) from the University of Beira Interior, a Master's in Management (2016) from FUCAPE Business School, and a Bachelor's in Law (2013). Her research focuses on integrating spirituality, ethics, and sustainability into business practices for long-term organizational performance. She explores topics like practical wisdom, eco-anxiety, and corporate social responsibility.
Rochas has received awards including the 2024 Most Inspirational Paper and the 2023 MSR-AOM Distinguished Service Award. She serves as an Associate Editor for the Brazilian Business Review and Guest Editor for Springer Publishing. She has held visiting researcher positions at WU (Vienna) and is a member of the Academy of Management and EURAM.
