Rayne Loder

Rayne Loder serves as Clinical Associate Professor in Public Health and Community Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, where she directs the Interprofessional Education program for the Physician Assistant Program. She holds a PhD candidacy in Health Professions Education from University of Maryland, Baltimore, complemented by a Master's in Health Science (Physician Assistant) from Lock Haven University and a BS in Biology from Lebanon Valley College.

Her research focuses on transforming healthcare education through workforce analysis, curriculum innovation, and interprofessional collaboration. Key investigations include diversity in PA program admissions, competency-based virtual learning models, and expressive arts in medical training. Recent work explores novel pedagogical approaches like song-based medical education and language acquisition frameworks.

Award recognition includes the 2024 Didactic Faculty of the Year and 2019 David J. Keahey Teaching Award. She secured funding for projects including the 'Health Studies Fund Mentored New Researcher Award' and technology-enhanced ultrasound curriculum development.

As course director for Internal Medicine, Clinical Reasoning, and Evidence-Based Medicine curricula, she teaches hematology, cardiology, and pulmonology modules while leading physical diagnosis labs. She serves on admissions, curriculum, and promotions committees.
