Rayid Ghani is a Distinguished Career Professor in the Machine Learning Department and the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. He is co-lead of the Responsible AI Initiative and founder of the Data Science for Social Good Fellowship, training global professionals in ethical data science applications. His work spans AI governance, fairness, and practical deployment in social policy areas like healthcare, criminal justice, and economic development.
