Ray Clement Harris

Ray Clement Harris, MD, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He serves as Director of the Division of Nephrology. His research focuses on renal physiology and pathophysiology, specifically investigating cyclooxygenase-2's role in kidney development, growth factor mechanisms in renal injury recovery, and the renin-angiotensin system's regulation of epithelial cells.
