Ravi Radhakrishnan, MD, MBA, is a Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He holds leadership roles as Vice Chair of Education, Director of the ECMO Program, Director of the Pediatric Surgery Fellowship Program, and Pediatric Surgeon in Chief. His research focuses on burn injury management, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), hepatic fibrosis mechanisms, and pediatric surgical outcomes. Key projects include studying ECMO in lung transplant patients, sepsis diagnosis after burns, and drug development for fibrosis.
