Ratika Kumar

Ratika Kumar is Senior Research Fellow at Southern Cross University's Faculty of Health and ECR fellow at The Regional Australia Mental Health Research and Training Institute (RAMHeaRT). Her research expertise spans quantitative and qualitative methods in tobacco control, mental health, and oral health.

Current work focuses on evaluating the iSISTAQUIT social media campaign's effectiveness in training health providers to deliver culturally sensitive smoking cessation support to pregnant Indigenous women. This includes designing evaluation frameworks, assessing campaign reach, and analyzing stakeholder engagement strategies.

Publications demonstrate diverse methodological approaches across health domains, including randomized trials in primary care settings, diagnostic imaging applications, environmental exposure studies, and clinical oncology research. Collaborative projects reflect interdisciplinary engagement with cardiology, oncology, environmental science, and public health.
