Rashmi Sadana is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at George Mason University. Her research focuses on urban space, gender, and social mobility in postcolonial India, particularly through the lens of infrastructure and language politics. She holds a PhD from UC Berkeley and has held postdoctoral fellowships at Columbia University.
Her major works include *The Moving City* (2022) and *English Heart, Hindi Heartland* (2012), which explore the Delhi Metro’s socio-political impact and India’s linguistic dynamics.
