Rashmi Arora, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Rheumatic Diseases. She is also a Staff Physician at the VA North Texas Health Care System. Her roles include clinical practice, research, and teaching.
Dr. Arora received her medical degree from SMS Medical College in India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Michigan State University and Louisiana State University, followed by a rheumatology fellowship. Board-certified in rheumatology, she joined UT Southwestern in 2010.
Her research focuses on veterans and rheumatology, with involvement in clinical trials and studies. She actively contributes to the Performance Measures Committee and QI Committee at UT Southwestern. Teaching responsibilities include medical school, graduate school, small-group sessions, and supervising internal medicine residents and rheumatology fellows.
Dr. Arora is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
