Raquel Ravaglioli, PhD, MT-BC, is an Associate Professor and Director of the Music Therapy Department at Biola University’s Conservatory of Music. She holds a Ph.D. in Individual Interdisciplinary Program (Music Therapy Pedagogy and Supervision) from Ohio University, an M.A. in Creative Arts Therapies (Music Therapy) from Concordia University, and a B.M. in Music Therapy & Violin Performance from the University of the Pacific.

- Certified in NICU-MT, NMT, and Bonny Method of Guided Imagery through Music (Level I)
Ravaglioli’s research focuses on music therapy pedagogy, supervision practices, and advocacy skills for students. She has presented extensively at international and national conferences, including studies on self-awareness in therapy sessions, music therapy applications for chronic illness, and mental health stigma reduction.
Her courses cover foundations of music therapy, methods, practicum training, and specialized work with children and adults. She serves on Biola’s Faculty Senate and Educational Effectiveness Committee.
