Raquel Anido is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Clemson University's Department of Languages, housed within the College of Arts and Humanities. She specializes in Spanish literature, cinema, and cultural studies, with particular focus on themes of justice, memory, and freedom in post-war Spain.

Research Interests: Cultural Studies, Women's Studies, and Human Rights. Her book El pasado en solfa (2018) examines music's role in Spanish literature and cinema since the post-war era. Currently, she is editing a volume on literary representations of Spanish bars and tavernas.
