Raphaela Stadler is a Professor of Tourism and Event Management at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), Austria, where she has held the position since May 2024. Previously, she served as an Associated Professor (2022–2024) at MCI and held senior academic roles at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, including Senior Lecturer (2015–2022) and Lecturer (2013–2015). Her academic journey includes a PhD in Tourism and Event Management from Griffith University (2013) and dual master’s degrees from the University of Innsbruck (International Economics and Musicology).
Her research focuses on event management, tourism, and the intersection of events with mental health, neurodiversity, and family well-being. She has led/co-investigated projects like Stress Matters UK (2021–present) on event industry well-being and Neurodiversity and Tourism (2020–present).
