Raphael David Levine is a Professor of Chemistry and Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a prior long-standing role as Max Born Professor of Natural Philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1968–2006). He is affiliated with multiple prestigious academies, including Academia Europaea, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Israel Academy of Sciences & Humanities.
