Ranjoo Herr

Ranjoo Herr is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Bentley University. She holds a PhD from SUNY Buffalo and BL/BA degrees from Seoul National University. Her research intersects feminist philosophy (decolonial, third world, transnational, women of color, and Confucian feminism), political philosophy, and comparative philosophy.

Dr. Herr's work examines critical issues including collective self-determination, human rights, colonialism, global injustice, nationalism, racial justice, and multiculturalism. Her teaching covers global justice/globalization, philosophy of race, political philosophy, feminist theory, East Asian philosophy, environmental ethics, and applied ethics.
