Ranjan Datta

Ranjan Datta is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Community Disaster Research at the Department of Humanities, Mount Royal University, Canada. He holds a PhD from the University of Saskatchewan and has held roles including Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. His research focuses on Indigenous environmental sustainability, decolonization, and climate change adaptation, with affiliations to the Global Institute for Water Security and the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee.
