Raney Antoine

Raney Antoine serves as a Professor of Practice specializing in Hip Hop and R&B at Loyola University New Orleans, where he is affiliated with the College of Music and Media and the Commercial Music program. Having begun his musical journey at age 7 playing drums in church and transitioning to piano at age 12, Antoine blends performance experience with academic instruction. His 2018 producer-artist debut with singles "Lovestruck" (R&B) and "The Man" (hip-hop) demonstrates applied industry knowledge. As an educator, he prioritizes demystifying music industry practices while fostering memorable creative experiences through hands-on learning.
