Randye J. Semple is a Clinical Professor at USC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Director of Psychological Services at Los Angeles General Medical Center. She developed Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Children (MBCT-C), implemented globally. Her research examines mindfulness interventions for youth mental health in clinical and school settings. As PI of the SAMHSA-funded USC Child and Adolescent Collaborative for Trauma-Informed Care, she expands access to trauma treatment.
