Randi Heinrichs is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Digital Cultures, Leuphana University Lüneburg, specializing in critical data studies and digital cultures. Her research explores power relations, social practices, and technical conditions shaping knowledge politics in digital environments.
She completed her PhD in 2023 on anonymity, social media platforms, and data neighborhoods. Current affiliations include the Institute of Sociology and Cultural Organisation (ISCO), editorial management of ephemera. theory and politics of organization, and collaborations with UC Berkeley, Simon Fraser University, and the University of Copenhagen.
Her work addresses topics like digital twins, personalization, anonymity, whistleblowing, and algorithmic urban history, with recognition through the MITACS award for emerging scholars in 2022.
