Randall Small

Randall Small is a Professor and Director of Biology Teaching and Learning in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University (1999) and specializes in Plant Systematics and Molecular Evolution. His research focuses on the plant family Malvaceae, particularly Hibiscus and Sarraceniaceae, using DNA sequence analyses to explore phylogenetic relationships, polyploid speciation, and biogeography.
