Randa Duvick is a Senior Research Professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Valparaiso University. Her academic career spans decades, focusing on French literature, dialectology, and the historical French presence in the North American Midwest. She has taught courses ranging from French phonetics to Francophone African literature and served as department chair for twelve years.

Her research interests include 19th-Century French Literature, French-language pedagogy, and the history of French traders in the Midwest.
