Ranadhir Dey

Ranadhir Dey is a Biologist at the Laboratory of Emerging Pathogens (LEP) within the Division of Transfusion Transmitted Diseases (DETTD) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) in Silver Spring, MD. He serves as an Affiliate Faculty member at the School of Systems Biology, contributing expertise in pathogen research and blood safety.

His research focuses on:

• Identification and characterization of emerging pathogens in blood transfusion contexts
• Development of diagnostic strategies for transfusion-transmitted diseases
