Ramil Mauleon is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Southern Cross University (Faculty of Science and Engineering) and a former Senior Research Fellow in bioinformatics/computational biology at SCU. Previously, he served as a Bioinformatics Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), contributing to global projects like the 3,000 Rice Genomes Project and the Rice Galaxy initiative. His research focuses on integrative omics data analysis, FAIR-compliant data systems, and computational tools for crop genomics.
